In a performance that will be remembered for years to come, Team Lapua’s Brandon Green became the first American ever to claim the prestigious King’s Prize in the 156-year history of the event. Competing with incredible precision and composure, Green achieved an aggregate score of 299-41V, dropping just a single point over 30 shots. His final stages included a remarkable 75-11V at 900 yards and 75-10V at 1000 yards.
Held at the historic Bisley Camp in Surrey from 13 June to 26 July, the Imperial Meeting is the UK National Rifle Association’s flagship competition and one of the most respected fullbore rifle events in the world. The King’s Prize—first awarded by Queen Victoria in 1860—attracts elite shooters from across the globe.
Green dominated throughout the competition, securing multiple aggregate titles before lifting the King’s Prize. His victory was marked by the traditional “chairing” ceremony, carried from the firing line by fellow competitors.
As the UK distributor of Lapua ammunition, Viking Arms is proud to celebrate Brandon’s incredible achievement. His win is a testament to skill, preparation, and the unmatched performance of Lapua’s world-class ammunition.
